What is a deposit limit?
A deposit limit lets you control how much money you can deposit into your BetConnect account over a set period. It is one of our Responsible Gambling tools and helps you stay comfortable and in control of your spending.
What limits can I set?
You can set a limit for 24 hours, 7 days and 1 month. You can use one, two or all three, whichever suits you best.
How do I set a deposit limit?
Log in to your account and go to My Account > Player Protection page. Enter the amount you would like for each period, then click Set Deposit Limit. Your limit will be shown on the page once saved.
Can I change my deposit limit?
Yes. If you lower your limit, the change takes effect immediately. If you increase or remove a limit, a 24-hour cooling-off period applies, and you will need to confirm the change once this period ends before it comes into effect.
Why is there a waiting period to increase my limit?
This is a requirement under the Gambling Commission’s rules. It gives you time to think about the change and make sure it is right for you.
What happens if I reach my limit?
You won’t be able to make further deposits until the limit period resets. Any existing balance can still be used.
If you set more than one limit, whichever limit you reach first will apply, so the stricter limit will always take priority.
